Southern Ideal Home Show

The Raleigh Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show returns to the NC State Fairgrounds for its spring edition. Perfect timing too! Home improvement projects are up nearly 58% over last year, according to Houzz! The show features a Food Truck Rally with plenty of socially distanced seating available each day, local and regional experts on home improvement and local, trusted exhibitors with the latest products and services. To recognize the efforts of local frontline heroes during the pandemic, the show celebrates Hero Day on Friday. All active military personnel, veterans, EMTs, nurses, healthcare workers, firefighters, police and medical personnel receive complimentary admission with valid ID. Friday is also Senior Day, tickets for seniors aged 60+ are available for $7 online and at the box office. Teacher Day is Sunday and teachers will receive complimentary admission to the show with valid faculty ID Tickets purchased for the 2020 Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show are valid for the Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show (Spring Edition), April 9-11 or the Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show (Fall Edition), September 17-19. Guest wellness protocols will be in the place at the venue, from hand-washing and hand sanitizer stations throughout the show floor to masks required for all attendees and vendors. St. Roch Pop-Up Barbecue Dinner

Chef/Owner Sunny Gerhart welcomes Lawrence Barbeque and Revives St. Roch Fine Oyster & Bar’s “Friends with Benefits” Series to Celebrate Four Years. This one-night only menu will preview dishes from Chef Jake Wood’s Lawrence Barbecue, and Gerhart’s full menu will also be available to enjoy alongside it. This is not a ticketed dinner; you may reserve and order as you would regularly. Walk-ins are also welcome, and orders may be called in for curbside pickup, as well. Enjoy dinner from your favorite Downtown Raleigh restaurants as you dine outdoors on closed streets and listen to live music by local musicians.
