Get into the holiday season with the first ever Nights of Lights Drive-Thru Light Show at Dorothea Dix Park. Ohh and ahh over the light show throughout the park. There will be illuminated trees, festive light displays, and local art installations will delight visitors of all ages along the 1.3-mile route. On December 30th and December 31, get an extra dose of New Year’s Eve sparkle during the First Night Celebration Nights, courtesy of Artsplosure ($20-$40). Join Downtown Raleigh Alliance and ABC11 virtually for the annual Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting. Kick-off the holiday season from your couch and tune into ABC11 for Downtown Raleigh’s Annual Tree Lighting. This year’s pre-recorded virtual program will feature several performances and Mayor Baldwin lighting the tree to ring in the season in Downtown Raleigh. Get your holiday photos with the tree in front of the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts which will light up beginning on Friday, along with festive snowflake lights on Fayetteville Street.
