Pumpkin Carving with Goats

Goats get in on the fun as you carve your pumpkins at Spring Haven Farm in Chapel Hill. The farm offers the tools you’ll need to carve the pumpkins, and the goats will love to help you scoop out the slimy interior! 4th Annual Day of the Dead-City of Raleigh Museum

Artist Studio Project in collaboration with The City of Raleigh Museum, The Friends of The COR Museum and The General Consul of Mexico in Raleigh invite you to join in to take a closer look into this wonderful cultural tradition. Halloween Chalk Art Walk

Enjoy an autumn stroll downtown during the Halloween weekend and check out murals of chalk art by local artists. Several works of art will be created each day, so you’ll be in for new treats throughout the weekend. The murals will be spread out in Glenwood South, the Moore Square District and the Warehouse District to allow for safe participation. Artists include Taylor Harrington, Austin Bagwell, Lisa Gaither, Jose Cruz, Raquel Assanoua, and Jenna Davidson. Mask up and pick up a Halloween themed sweet treat at a nearby local business like Videri Chocolate Factory, Sir Walter Coffee, The Cupcake Shoppe, and Amorino Gelato. Chalk murals will be completed at 1 pm Saturday & Sunday.

Halloween Night Market

Join Triangle Pop-Up at Transfer Co. Food Hall and their highly curated selection of accessories, clothing, home goods, custom gifts and more by local artists & makers. Come try a wide range of cuisine and enjoy a day of shopping from some of the best local artists around Raleigh. This market will be set-up for safe social distancing and will take place completely outdoor. Vendor booths will be at least six feet apart. Vendors will be required to wear masks and hand sanitizing stations will be frequent. All vendors will be set-up outdoor in the open air! Masks are REQUIRED. Costumes are encouraged! Shop Local Raleigh is excited to present LOCALween at Lincoln Theatre! Join in a homegrown harvest featuring some of your favorite food trucks, Fall seasonals from NC breweries, and an outdoor market of local vendors! You can “bob” for NC beers. Purchase a ticket in advance or onsite while supplies last to be redeemed for a 6 pack of NC craft brews of your choosing. Must be 21 or older to purchase. Monster Madness at Marbles

The downtown Raleigh museum is open, with limited capacity, and it will be offering some not-so-scary decor and activities daily through Sunday. Ghost Trail in Apex

Apex is offering a family-friendly spooky walk through Pine Loop Trail at Apex Nature Park. This is a drop-in event that you can attend at any time. Look for ghosts, pumpkins, bats and more. Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Trail

Notasium and Smile First Dental in Durham are hosting a Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Trail. Kids can dress up and have treats brought to them curbside while they enjoy some music from Notasium, which offers a play space and music programs for kids. Saturday, 2 – 4 pm; map here

Kidzu’s Virtual Halloween Event

The Chapel Hill museum will be hosting a virtual Halloween bash. The event includes a spooky story, experiment, craft and Halloween bingo. $3; Friday, 5 pm; Register here

Family Halloween Movie Night
