Pop-Up Raleigh

Sixth Annual Triangle Oktoberfest

The 6th Annual Triangle Oktoberfest, the largest in Central North Carolina, is an authentic German festival focused on family fun, traditional Bavarian food and fare, and plenty of local and authentic German beers from Munich, all to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and other local charities within our community. Live entertainment will showcase The Polka Brothers from NYC (a four-man band of young polka lovers known for their classic polka favorites, original compositions, and cover versions of contemporary songs), Wiener Dog Races & Parade, a kid-friendly Kinder Platz (inflatables, face painting and games), Masskrugstemmen (Stein Hoist) and Hammerschlagen (Hammer-Striking) Competitions, and yes, Yodeling (a big success last year). 24th Annual World Beer Fest Durham

For over 20 years, World Beer Festivals have celebrated beer and our great brewers. Their events are nationwide, feature a sampling of international, national and local breweries and benefit a local organization. Guinness Book World Record Tap Takeover with Wicked Weed

The folks from the Guinness Book of World Records will be onsite to verify that this is the largest recorded Tap Takeover ever, and you can be part of it! Raleigh Beer Garden’s roughly 350 taps from different breweries around the country and 150 plus unique beers from Wicked Weed will be available. There will be live music throughout the day, a photo booth and games. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Hops for Hope, an event that raises funds for Children’s Flight of Hope. CFOH is a 501c3 organization providing air transportation for children to access specialized medical care. 2019 North Carolina State Fair

The largest annual event in the state, the North Carolina State Fair draws one million visitors through the gates each Oct., marking what many consider to be the unofficial beginning of the fall season.
