Packapalooza

Packapalooza is an all-day block party and street festival capping off Wolfpack Welcome Week at the start of the academic year. Celebrate in N.C. State style, including great music, activities throughout the day and fun entertainment for the whole family. You can expect over 300 vendor booths and over 40 sponsoring organizations. 43rd Annual Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival

Come join us at the 43rd Annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival. In 2016, the festival expanded from a one-day event to a two-day event. The 43rd festival will continue in the two-day format and the festival will remain on Cary’s Town Hall Campus. Strings & Suds Festival Brings Roots Music To Black Mountain, NC

Organizers of Jam In The Trees, The Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage Series, and HoosierDevil are proud to announce Strings & Suds, a two-day music event held at Pisgah Brewing Company’s legendary taproom and outdoor stage. Strings & Suds features The Mavericks, Donna the Buffalo, Junior Brown, Jim Lauderdale, and Sierra Hull. Additionally, Strings & Suds will feature Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, YARN, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, Danny Burns, East of Monroe, and Ashley Heath and Her Heathens. The event will host an intimate evening on the Pisgah Taproom Stage on Friday. Saturday has outdoor stage performances, in addition to Taproom shows. In addition to food trucks, local artisans and craft vendors will set up and you can take a brewery tour inside Pisgah Brewing. Wrightsville Beach Wahine Classic

Wrapping the trio of surf events is the 7th annual Wrightsville Beach Wahine Classic, open to lady surfers of all ages. Competitors include teenie-wahines, amateurs, and professionals. Blockade Runner Beach Resort, a short walk on the beach to each of these events, is a supporter and host hotel for Surfers Healing and the Wrightsville Beach Wahine Classic.
