Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

Beer sipping, bourbon tasting, music listening and barbecue eating—what’s not to love? Don’t miss the two-day Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival at Cary‘s Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Join in a body positive workshop hosted at GLOW Raleigh to shed light on the way our culture has shaped our society and guided our beliefs of personal body image, and how it affects ourselves and the world around us. You will dive into the culture of harnessing a positive self-image of ourselves and have an open discussion on how it has coursed our lives. Moore Square Grand Opening Celebration

Join in the Grand Opening Celebration! The event will feature a plethora of activities that highlight the unique slate of programs and events planned for the Square. There will be vendors, entertainers, activities and Moore! Artsplosure will be curating an art market and a hands on project by Kid Lab will be on display. The main stage performances will include Raleigh Rockers, Oak City Voices, Sandbox Band, Shiloh Hill and Ellis Dyson and the Shambles. MOFU Shoppe 2 Year Bash

It’s been two years since they opened their doors! Join in a two 2 part celebration!  Stop by as they will be packing 10,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger. You can donate directly to their meal packing event, or register to volunteer to pack meals and learn more about Rise Against Hunger’s mission. Then, join in the Luau Party for Viet Cajun Crawfish/Seafood Boil, drink specials, summertime Boodle Fight all day, desserts and more! All ticket sales and proceeds from the afternoon party will benefit our meal packing event and Rise Against Hunger. Watermelon Eating Competition

Come celebrate National Watermelon Day with Compass Rose! They will be releasing a Watermelon Beer for the day! A watermelon eating competition will take place at 3 pm. The objective is to eat half of a watermelon with no hands! Entry fee is $10 and first to finish their watermelon will receive a Compass Rose gift card.
