Destination SunFest

Enjoy the Ferris wheel, carousel, food + drinks, live entertainment, history hayride tours along with art, craft and other fun activities for kids and adults! Destination SunFest is a celebration of the completion of the Master Plan and welcome party for the entire community to visit the sunflowers, connect with the land and become part of the next phase of Dorothea Dix Park! Coronato Pizza Pop-up at Botanist and Barrel

The “Pizza King” is back at it again! Chef-owner Teddy Diggs of Coronato is hosting a final pop-up event before the grand opening of his new Roman-style pizzeria this summer. Chef Diggs will be collaborating with Deric McGuffey, former pastry chef of Il Palio and current partner in Botanist and Barrel. Expect innovative Roman pizzas and a Coronato themed dessert by Chef Diggs along with refreshing craft ciders by Deric McGuffey. only 36 pizzas will be fired up during this event. Tickets include a glass of cider and food. Children’s Flight of Hope Fundraiser

Compass Rose will be hosting a fundraising event for Children’s Flight of Hope sponsored by Ameriprise Financial. Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH) is changing the way kids with serious illnesses and injuries are treated through their mission of love, joy, and hope. Providing air transportation for young patients and their families grants access to specialized medical care that might otherwise be out of reach, which in turn encourages faster and safer recoveries. Your tickets includes 4 – 10oz beers and 2 hotdogs! There will be door prizes, a raffle, live music by Chris Delusso Duo from 8-11 pm and BBQ Proper food truck from 5-9 pm. Compass Rose will be donating $1 per pint of every beer sold during the event!
