Cape Fear Seafood Company Opens

(CFSC) announced they will open their first location outside the Wilmington area. This will be the fourth location for the company, and the first franchise location. This week they are hosting four reservation-only charity events. The events are open to the public and will benefit The First Tee of the Triangle, Habitat for Humanity, Make a Wish and The Trawick Pediatric Cardiology Fund at Duke Children’s Hospital. 50% of sales will be donated to the designated charity partners. Let’s Go OUT! Shopping Tour

In partnership with Raleigh Pride, join in a guided shopping tour of Downtown Raleigh to highlight the support of the independently owned retail community! These hand-picked stores are sure to have something for everyone on your list, even you! 3rd Thursday is a monthly shopping event hosted by DTR Independent Shops during which downtown workers, residents, and Triangle area shoppers are invited to revisit their favorite DTR stores and discover new ones for special experiences, sips and snacks available that night only. 2nd Annual Beyond: The Film Festival

2019 is here and we’ve launched our second annual film festival, celebrating the art of storytelling through cinema. Featuring screenplay and short film competitions that are far beyond ordinary, this four-day festival takes place right here in downtown Cary. Last year, we attracted filmmakers from British Columbia and beyond who’ve submitted their screenplays and short films (>30 minutes). We’re hoping for an even wider group of submissions for this year’s “HEROES” theme. Join us June 19-23 for a fun and enjoyable cinematic experience open to the community. New for 2019!
