Wye Hill Kitchen and Brewing Opens

Replacing Boylan Bridge Brewpub, under new ownership, Chris Borreson and Sara Abernethy is opening Wednesday. Dishes include Fried Pickled Okra with a charred scallion ranch; Mohawk Bacon Chop – a 26-ounce bone-in pork loin that will serve multiple people; Arroz Sucio, a dirty rice dish with a 63 degree egg; Pub Cheese made with smoked gouda, cheddar mixed with their brewed in-house dark lager, served with fried sweet potato chips; and named after the restaurant itself, the Wye Fries are tossed with a rosemary-chipotle salt and topped with a house kewpie mayo. Wye Hill will have eight beers on tap that come straight from their in-house brewery and two of their beers, the Mango Express and Passionista, are fruit-infused.
