Arts After Dark
Arts After Dark is a night of creative exploration that includes a make-and-take art project followed by dance. A cash bar offering adult beverages and complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Empire Eats Catering will be available throughout the event. Moonlight in the Garden 
For seven-nights, the magical lighting exhibition Moonlight in the Garden will illuminate and showcase JC Raulston Arboretum at North Carolina State University. Sponsored by the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation and presented by Southern Lights of Raleigh and more than a dozen suppliers, the exhibition is a once-per-year occasion to see the botanical gardens and Arboretum at night. Founded in 1976 and featuring over 7,000 different types of plants, JC Raulston Arboretum is one of the most diverse botanical gardens in North America based on benchmarking by the American Public Gardens Association. Now ranked in the top 95-percentile in plant diversity, the Arboretum’s mission includes plant collection, research, distribution, and education. Proceeds from Moonlight in the Garden will benefit daily operations of the JC Raulston Arboretum. $10/advanced college students and members of the Arboretum, $20/non-members, and $5/children under 12. Carolina Hurricanes All-Star Chef Series
The Carolina Hurricanes are teaming up with Social House Vodka to host a series of dinners featuring area chefs. Each meal will take place two hours before game time at the Arena Club Restaurant at PNC Arena. The four-course meals will include signature cocktails from guest bartenders. This weekend features Dean Neff of PinPoint Restaurant in Wilmington and Chris Coleman of Stoke Charlotte in Charlotte. Come Together for the Coast
In the wake of Hurricane Florence, Chef Scott Crawford of Crawford and Son has partnered with The Sunday Supper on relief events to benefit the small businesses so vital to North Carolina’s hospitality industry and thriving economy. During the “Come Together for the Coast” event, experience a delicious meal set on a table for 1,000 people from throughout our community to benefit Hurricane Florence victims. During the event, participants will pay tribute to the service of our first responders and our nation’s veterans. Bradford’s & Bond Brother’s Beer & BBQ Ball
