SPCA K9-3K Dog Walk & Woofstock
The K9-3K Dog Walk & Woofstock is an annual North Carolina tradition that brings animal lovers together for a fun walk and day of festivities with a very important purpose: Helping the SPCA of Wake County care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted pets, and giving them a second chance at happiness in a forever home. 10th Annual Doughman
Durham’s legendary gastronomical quadrathlon is back for its 10th race! Join the ranks of those brave athletes, competitive eaters, and costumed teams who have conquered previous Doughman events before you! Doughman X will offer gastronomical challenges from some of Durham’s most beloved restaurants, brisk sprints through the beautiful Bull City, a delightful “swim”, and so many costumes. This year’s race will benefit the Durham Bike Co-op. Teams will have the opportunity to fundraise for bonuses, bragging rights, and ultimately to support a great local cause. 2018 Portofino Derby Classic
The Portofino Derby Classic is a unique way to “party with a purpose”. Join the biggest Kentucky Derby Party where you will sip a mint julep and cheer for the best-dressed in the ladies’ hat contest and the men’s and children’s derby outfit contests. Get excited about the main event as you watch the live horse demos, including vaulting, jumping, and horse races. 4th Annual Midtown Music Fest
This 4th annual art & music festival celebrates Spring and the return of outdoor music to North Hills! There will be a diverse line-up split between two stages. Meet in the Street Festival

PeakFest
Salem St. in historic downtown Apex comes alive with more than 20,000 visitors during PeakFest. For more than 30 years, the arts and crafts festival has brought families together for a day of fun, food and fellowship. Out! Raleigh

Fest in the West
Celebrate Cary’s rural past at West Cary’s big festival! Enter one of the fun contests, try some local craft beer and have lunch from food trucks. Breweries at the Beer Garden will include locals Bond Brother Beer Company, Fortnight Brewing Company, Jordan Lake Brewing Company and Southern Peak Brewery. Durham Greek Festival
Head over to the Greek Festival to shop at the Greek marketplace and enjoy delicious food. There will be continuous traditional and popular Greek music and folk dance performances by adult and youth dance troupes in authentic costumes. The band “Opa” will entertain you with live bouzouki music.
