Good Together: A Jeffersonian Dinner Benefiting Activate Good
Join in a four-course meal prepared by award winning local chef, Matt Lowery. This unique “jeffersonian dinner” event will take place at the rustic Campbell Lodge, in Durant Nature Preserve in North Raleigh. Big Biscuit Showdown
The Third Annual Big Biscuit Showdown is a unique food competition with teams comprised of Rise Biscuits Donuts chefs and a local brewery or beverage company. Each Rise chef will prepare a special biscuit and donut with inventive toppings and fillings that will be paired with a local craft-made beverage. You are invited to taste, enjoy and then vote for your favorite biscuit, donut and beverage. This year, guest celebrity chef judges will also select winners in each category. The winning biscuit, donut and beverage will receive the coveted Big Biscuit Showdown belt. All proceeds from the Big Biscuit Showdown will be donated to Meals on Wheels Durham, a non-profit agency that helps older adults and people with disabilities stay safe at home. They are well-known for their weekday hot lunch delivery program, but they offer so much more in support to their homebound clients. RGC Annual Plant Sale
