Eco Faire at The Scrap Exchange
Join in to learn about topics related to the environment and about the numerous environmental projects currently underway in the Triangle! Pilates Barre Extreme’s 5 Year Anniversary
They are hosting an outdoor pop up mat class to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. Located in the Courtyard next to the studio, Born to DJ will be spinning during the 50 minute mat class taught by Libby. Wanderlust 108: The ‘Mindful’ Triathlon
Coming to prominent public parks worldwide, Wanderlust’s triathlon consists of a five-kilometer run (or walk), a music-fueled, outdoor yoga class and a guided meditation led by the world’s top teachers. Mindful triathletes can also enjoy live music, browsing the marketplace of local craft and food vendors, and bonus fitness classes throughout the day. The yoga portion of the event will be taught by internationally recognized teachers including Chelsey Korus, Mary Beth LaRue, Faith Hunter, and Briohny Smyth. The meditation leg of the triathlon will be helmed by Light Watkins, Tracee Stanley or Noah Levine and the day will be underscored by the likes of DJ Drez, DJ Taz Rashid, Jesse Blake, DJ Serious Black or DJ Sol Rising. Raleigh Raw 2nd Annual Anniversary Block Party

Art Expression In The Garden
This magical event is themed around using nature and artistry to navigate through life. Held in the beautiful gardens of the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh., the event will be opened by the Principal Ballerinas Margaret Severin-Hansen and Marcelo Martinez  from Carolina Ballet, Soprano Lora Fabio accompanied by a violin trio. The event will have live bands, performing artists throughout the gardens, and a fashion show by Justin LeBlanc from “Project Runway”.  Ballet dancer and model from Washington Ballet, Peyton Anderson, will also make an appearance. To round out the afternoon, there will be a silent auction. Appalachian Brewing VIP Tasting Session
In honor of Earth Day Oak City Brewing Company is teaming up with Appalachian Mountain Brewery and Cidery & Trees for the Triangle! A portion of the proceeds will go towards planting White Oaks in our very own Knightdale Station park. *The session includes a special snifter glass, first dibs on tasting and purchasing two rare bottles not available on draft that day. Spanglish is serving lunch from 12 – 4 pm. The Cow and The Oak will be hanging out from 5 – 9 pm. Tap The Neuse Fundraiser

Celebrating its 11th season, the Midtown Farmers’ Market continues to be a community favorite. This “producers only” market provides you the opportunity to support North Carolina Farmers. The market promotes whole-body wellness with an emphasis on good nutrition as it correlates with health issues. 10th Annual ‘Cuegrass Festival
Raleigh’s original bluegrass festival returns to the warehouse district of downtown Raleigh, with a jam-packed day full of great ‘cue, local brews, and toe-tappin’ bluegrass music! They’re closing down the streets around The Pit and firing up the pig cookers to serve plenty of their famous Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue and a selection of locally made beers. And on the stage, we’ll have some of our favorite bands. Proceeds go to SAFEchild and to the Junior League of Raleigh’s BackPack Buddies program, which helps provide children at Lacy and Hunter Elementary Schools with healthy weekend meals and snacks during the school year. Glenwood South Wing Fling
Eight local restaurants will be serving up their wings in a judged contest to see who has the best wings in town. Participating establishments include Buffalo Brothers, Southern Charred, The Station, Carolina Ale House, Demo’s Pizzeria, Hibernian Irish Pub, Solas and The Raleigh Beer Garden. You will receive a “passport card” with your ticket purchase which gets you two wings from each establishment and once you’ve decided, you drop your card in the box for the establishment you want to vote for. Celebrity judges will also be rating the Triangle’s wing offerings to see who goes home with the title of best wings in town. Rodeo on Rosemary
Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation in collaboration with the Downtown Partnership and the Raleigh-Durham Mobile Food Association (RDUMFA) are bringing their spring food truck rodeo, Rodeo on Rosemary, on the block of Rosemary Street between Henderson and North Columbia streets. Local trucks have helped create a vibrant food truck scene in the Triangle. “Rodeo on Rosemary” will feature more than a dozen of the areas favorites and you can enjoy your delicious eats on top of the Wallace Parking Deck where there will be an ample supply of tables and chairs and a skyline view of Downtown Chapel Hill. Enjoy the afternoon with giant games, a miniature golf course on The Plaza and a live DJ spinning your favorite tunes. Special performances by the Raleigh Rockers will also take place.
