Art in Bloom
Join in the NCMA’s fourth annual festival of art and flowers. Art in Bloom features more than 50 floral masterpieces created by world-class designers inspired by art in the Museum’s collection. Trashion Competition
Design clothing or accessories from items that would otherwise be tossed in the trash, and you could win $500! The rules are to create a garment or accessory using at least 75% reused materials (plastic bags, tires, aluminum cans, bottle caps, newspaper, fabric, and cardboard), complete an online entry form with a description of your creation, along with photos or video. Entries will be judged on originality, functionality, and quality of construction. Winners will model their designs at the 2018 Raleigh Environmental Awards on March 22. Modern Succulent Terrarium Workshop
In this hands-on class, Megan George of the Zen Succulent shows you how to create a terrarium featuring North Carolina–grown plants.
